In this episode we learn how Chris Clews left marketing to speak and write about what he loves, his top business takeaways that draw from 80s wisdom and what it takes to live by the quote from his favorite, the poet laureate Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
Growing up in the 80s and with over 20 years of experience in corporate marketing Chris Clews knew two things very well – 80s pop culture and business. So he combined the two and created “What 80s Pop Culture Teaches Us About Today’s Workplace”. He specialized in building brands, leading them through transition and spearheading sports sponsorships with NCAA Basketball, PGA, MLB, International Soccer and the UFC. That skill set helped him build and launch his own brand as a full-time speaker and author. In this episode we learn how Chris made his transition to doing what he loves, his top business takeaways that draw from 80s wisdom and what it takes to live by the quote from his favorite, the poet laureate Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
